How this calculator works
Milli means 10^-3 and micro means 10^-6. One millisecond is therefore 1000 microseconds and one thousandth of a second. The equivalents table spans short timing intervals through fixed-length years. A month there means one twelfth of a 365.25-day Julian year, rather than a calendar month.
Formula
us = ms x 1000; ms = us / 1000; seconds = ms / 1000; minutes = ms / 60000.
Worked example
A 16 ms interval is 16000 us and 0.016 s. A 250000 us interval is 250 ms or 0.25 s.
