How this calculator works
The original TIMI STEMI score was derived in fibrinolysis-eligible patients. Age 65 to 74 adds 2 or age at least 75 adds 3; systolic pressure below 100 adds 3; pulse above 100 and Killip II to IV each add 2; diabetes/hypertension/angina, weight below 67 kg, anterior ST elevation/LBBB and delay above four hours each add 1. The maximum is 14. Mortality percentages are historical trial estimates and may not match modern PCI care. The result is an estimate for information only and is not medical advice.
Formula
Total = age(0/2/3) + 3 × low SBP + 2 × tachycardia + 2 × Killip II-IV + four one-point criteria. Historical mortality by score 0 through 8: 0.8, 1.6, 2.2, 4.4, 7.3, 12.4, 16.1, 23.4, 26.8%; ≥9: 35.9%.
Worked example
No positive criteria gives score 0 and historical 0.8% mortality. Age 70 plus systolic pressure 90 mmHg gives score 5 and 12.4%.

Frequently asked questions
Is this for NSTEMI?
No. UA/NSTEMI uses a separate seven-point TIMI score with a different endpoint.
Does weight 67 kg earn a point?
No. The published threshold is strictly below 67 kg.
Should the result delay emergency treatment?
No. Suspected STEMI requires emergency care regardless of score.
