How this calculator works
The calculator looks up every event in the Army's published table, without interpolating absent point rows. Higher deadlift, push-up and plank performances score better; faster sprint-drag-carry and run times score better. Combat uses the age-specific M|C column for everyone; general scoring uses the selected male or female column. All scored events require at least 60 points. Five-event totals require 300 general or 350 combat points. An assigned alternate replaces the run with go/no-go and requires 240 general or 280 combat points across the four remaining events. Other event exemptions are not supported. These are the 2025 AFT tables and the Army's published 2026 implementation rules, checked on 1 November 2026; the separate Combat Field Test is not calculated here. The result is an estimate for information only and is not medical advice.
Formula
AFT total = MDL + HRP + SDC + PLK + 2MR. Each score is the highest qualifying published point row, capped at 100. With an assigned alternate, add four scored events and evaluate the alternate against its official time limit.
Worked example
For the 17 to 21 M|C column, 200 lb, 28 push-ups, 2:03 SDC, 2:02 plank and 18:35 run each earn 70 points, totalling 350. The five 60-point performances total 300: they meet general scoring but fall short of the combat total.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the ACFT?
No. The five-event AFT replaced the six-event ACFT on 1 June 2025. Standing power throw and leg tuck are not AFT events.
Can I use an alternate just because I prefer it?
The alternate mode assumes an authorized assignment under a permanent profile. It cannot determine whether you qualify for an alternate or other exemption.
What year are these standards?
The official scoring tables were approved 15 May 2025 and effective 1 June 2025. Combat implementation took effect in 2026. Consult current Army policy and your grader for an official record result.
