How this calculator works
The calculator tests both measurements against each published range, including endpoints. Overlapping ranges can produce more than one match. Measure where the product instructions place the chest strap, with the dog standing. A chart match is a shortlist rather than a fit guarantee, particularly for puppies and unusually deep or narrow chests.
Formula
A size matches when minimum chest ≤ measured chest ≤ maximum chest AND minimum weight ≤ dog weight ≤ maximum weight. No rounding is applied before comparison.
Worked example
A 5 kg dog with 45 cm girth matches both Baby 2 (33 to 45 cm, 2.5 to 5 kg) and Mini-mini (40 to 53 cm, 4 to 7 kg). A 35 kg dog at 80 cm matches Size 2.

Frequently asked questions
Does this work for every harness brand?
No. Use the size chart for the exact product. Labels such as small and medium are not standardized.
What if two sizes match?
Check the adjustment range, product instructions and a physical fitting. The tool deliberately shows every match.
Why is there no result for my dog?
Either the dog is outside this table or chest and weight point to different ranges. Ask the manufacturer for fitting help.
