How this calculator works
The original Yeh 2016 score was developed in patients who completed 12 months after PCI without major ischaemic or bleeding events. Age subtracts 1 at 65 to 74 or 2 at 75 and older. Current smoking, diabetes, prior MI/PCI, MI at presentation, diameter below 3 mm and paclitaxel stent each add 1; CHF/LVEF below 30% and vein graft intervention each add 2. The trial split was below 2 versus at least 2. It is not an acute bleeding score or a medication instruction. The result is an estimate for information only and is not medical advice.
Formula
DAPT = age(0/-1/-2) + six one-point criteria + 2 × CHF/low EF + 2 × vein graft PCI. Range -2 to 10.
Worked example
A 75-year-old with no positive criteria scores -2. A 60-year-old current smoker with diabetes and a small stent scores 3.
