How this calculator works
TTM adds the most recent four reported quarters rather than requiring a calendar year. Use the same measurement basis in every quarter and do not enter cumulative year-to-date amounts as separate quarters. Summing EPS is a practical approximation when share counts are stable; restatements and changing weighted share counts require care. The valuation modes use per-share dividends or EPS, and total EBITDA for enterprise value.
Formula
TTM = Q1 + Q2 + Q3 + Q4. Missing quarter = TTM - three known quarters. P/E = share price/TTM EPS. Dividend yield = TTM dividend per share/share price. EV/EBITDA = enterprise value/TTM EBITDA.
Worked example
Quarterly revenue of 100, 110, 120 and 130 totals 460. Quarterly EPS of 1, 1.5, 2 and 0.5 totals 5; a share price of 50 gives a trailing P/E of 10.

Frequently asked questions
Can I add balance-sheet items?
A balance sheet is a point-in-time snapshot. Summing cash or assets across quarters does not produce a meaningful TTM flow.
Why reject a negative P/E denominator?
A loss-making company does not have a conventional positive earnings multiple. The EPS total itself can still be calculated.
Which dividend figure belongs in yield mode?
Enter quarterly dividends per share and the current price of one share on the same share basis.
