How this calculator works
The selected amount is annualized using the paid schedule. All other periods are then derived from that annual total. A paid week is different from a calendar week when you take unpaid leave. Monthly is an annual average and biweekly means two paid weeks. This is a gross-pay conversion with no tax-year rates.
Formula
Annual = hourly x hours x weeks. Monthly = annual / 12. Weekly = annual / paid weeks. Daily = weekly / paid days. Minute = hourly / 60.
Worked example
$25 an hour for 40 hours over 52 weeks is $52,000 annually, $1,000 weekly, $2,000 biweekly and $200 per five-day working day.
